The rendering above shows the new plaza at Five Points with a new canopy overhead that allows sunlight to stream in.

MARTA is transforming Five Points Station into a vibrant city center with improved transit connectivity, increased safety, and enhanced customer amenities. The first phase of the project is the deconstruction of the concrete canopy.

During construction:

  • Most buses will continue to stop at Five Points on Forsyth Street but will terminate at other nearby stations

  • Station access remains at Forsyth and Peachtree Street entrances. Peachtree Street and the federal tunnel for employees remains open but will close at a later date. Alabama Street and Broad Street Plaza entrances are closed.

  • Rail service and transfers are unchanged

  • Station services will temporarily relocate

  • Elevators remain open for access and transfers

See detailed information below.

This graphic includes a chart outlining temporary Five Points customer service relocations. This same information is included as text on the website.
